Toronto Raptors

Today's team is the Toronto Raptors. They had a record of 22-60 and finished second to last in the Eastern Confrence. They recently last their star forward Chris Bosh who went to the Miami Heat (aka my team!). They completely lost all their confidence once they realized they lost Chris and didn't have any superstar on the team to take over. They had trouble just getting to the rim let alone finishing game or even keeping up in games. All 22 games they won were against sub .500 teams. They had nothing going in the whole season. It was just a waste of a season. They need to rebuild and rebuild fast. If not they are going to be drastically behind. So work some magic Toronto. If not you'll be in the dumps for a long time.

Los Angeles Clippers

Today we have the Los Angeles Clippers. As we all know the Clippers are not an elite team at all. The have one player with tremendous talent, and that person is Blake Griffin. Now the Clippers finished with a 32-50 record. Now that is better than 7 teams in the NBA, but it's just a poor effort on their part. Blake Griffin is definitely doing his part in the playing category, but no one else is stepping up to the plate. Middle way through the season they acquired Mo Williams. He was a good addition to the team because the playing style is the same. But he is aging and they know Mo won't be there for a lot of years, just about 3 years 4 at the most. But they need to have a good draft and even after that they need to add some more guards and get rid of a few centers. The are over stacked in that department and some are old. Then they need to practice hard and do good in the pre season that way they all can create chemistry with each others playing styles. I feel bad for Blake Griffin because he deserves to be on a team you actually tries to win. So don't look for the Clippers to make a drastic improvement in one off season. It will probably take 2 or 3 years. So good luck and do good Clippers.

Phoenix Suns

Today I'll be talking a little bit about the Phoenix Suns. They were not at all impressive this year. They finished off the season with a 40-42 record and not making the playoffs this year. One reason is because Steve Nash is getting a little old, but he is still the only one giving his all every night. Vince Carter was contributing until he got hurt, then they have some help from Channing Frye. But he is still new to the league and hasn't developed into a true basketball athlete yet. Also, they have Grant Hill, but he is older than Steve Nash! So he isn't going to be helping much or at all. But the do have Robin Lopez who is still working hard on getting better and he is rising fast. And at the end of the season the got Mickael Pietrus, from the Orlando Magic. He is a terrific three point shooter. If they would have received him earlier in the year they would of had a chance at making the playoffs. They need to re load on young talent on the off season. They need a young shooting guard and a young strong forward. Because once Vince Carter and Grant Hill either retire or get hurt they won't have a good one coming behind them taking their spot. Steve Nash is always ready and always in shape, so no worries on him. But everyone else needs to rest for a while then they need to practice and practice hard. Because if they want to make it to the playoffs or anywhere next season they need to work harder. if they can do all that they ave a good shot at finishing at highest 5th in the Western Conference. Good luck Suns. Your going to need it. Now please enjoy the highlights of Steve Nash's greatest moments so far.

Philadelphia 76ers

Today on my blog I'll be over viewing the Philadelphia 76ers. They finished the season 41-41 and 7th in the Eastern Conference. They started off pretty rocky and then kicked in to gear. There for a while they were so hot that no one could beat them. But then down the road they clinched a playoff spot, but unfortunately for them it was against the Miami Heat. And the Heat completely tore them a knew one. It wasn't a competition at all. But as long as they keep it up they will improve. One of the reasons they couldn't keep up with the Heat was because they are such a young team. They have no playoff experience and no one has been in a pressure situation of that nature. And 3 of their starting 5 are rookies. Just take your time Phillie and your time will be coming around the coner sooner than you think. Next year they"ll be in the top 5 of the Eastern Conference. Keep pushing hard Phillie.

Memphis Grizzlies

Today we have the outstanding Memphis Grizzlies. They became an overnight star of a team. Everybody loved them and wanted them to win. They finished the season with a record of 46-36. That may not sound like a big accomplishment, but they happened to beat the Spurs in the first round. Which they were a number 1 seed. Then they went all the way to game 7 in the second round against the Thunder. That was very impressive and remarkable. They had a star emerge in the postseason, Zach Randolph. He was just kind of known during the season, but once he had one good night against San Antonio he showed his true talent. They had a real good chance to go to the Western Conference Finals. And the good thing is, they don't have to do a thing to get ready for next season. They have all the components to be successful and someone to work around of. All that needs to happen is practice hard and stay healthy and injury free and they will be true big time contenders in the Western Conference. I would go as far as predicting them to be as high as the number 1 seed and nothing lower than the number 4 seed. They have everything in motion and in the right direction. Good job Memphis!

Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards are horific team. They finished the season 23-59. That is just terrible. They did finish better than two other teams though. They aquired John Wall from the Kentucky Wildcats. He definitely made an impact on the team, but they couldn't get anything going productive wise. They didn't have the chemistry and expirience like other vetern teams. And it shows. John Wall did what he was brought here to do, but the rest of he team didn't get the memo. So take a look at this video and see exactly what im talking about. All what i have to say is in the proof.

Utah Jazz

This week I'll be talking about the Utah Jazz. They had a terrible season. It all started when the head coach Jerry Sloan quite mid season. That was a shocker to all. Next came the ineviditable trade of Daren Williams to the Nets. Which is what altimitally killed them. Once he was out of the line up they had absolutely no one. And i can prove it. First, in this video you'll see that they have a poor defense to begin eith. The only thing that has them winning is Williams. Also, you'll see that Williams is their WHOLE team!! Just take a look and see for yourselves. All-in-all, they should have never traded him. And then they could have had a chance a even making the playoffs. Good job Utah!

Cleveland Cavaliers

Today I won't be discussing a team that is in the playoffs, but the team with the worst record in the NBA. They finished out the season 19-63 and on a sad 2 game win streak. They of coarse didn't have King James there, so they were back to being nobody. They made an impression by winning their first game of the season against the Celtics, but it was down hill from there on out. The only reason they won 19 games was because at the end of the season playoff team were resting their starters so they were playing people their level. And even then they struggled at times. They looked hideous all the time. And the owner had nothing better to do but bash on Lebron James when he should have been focusing on his sucky team. They were the second worst team in the history of the NBA. The only highlight of their season was that they beat the Miami Heat at the end of the season when the Heat didn't even try against them. I can't even begin to start naming the billions of things they need to do to start on a good note next year. They honestly need a coach, a younger, more heart fought team that actually cares if they win or lose. And they need lots and lots and billions of hours of practice. In one word to describe what they need " MIRACLE". That's all they can hope for now. Good luck Cleveland!

Atlanta Hawks

Today I'll be talking about the surprising Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks finish the season with a 44-38 record and 5th in the Eastern Conference. They have had a sub par season, but I say surprising because they beat the Orlando Magic in a series 4-1. And now they just tied the series 2-2 with the hot Chicago Bulls whom are the number 1 seed. What helps them the best is that Josh Smith has stepped up big time. He finishes almost all the time in the paint. And he has been an amazing passer. Also, Jamal Crawford has hit those important three's down the stretch of the game. And of coarse, Jeff Teague! He has had an MVP performance every game in the playoffs. He is a spitting image of Derrick Rose. He is quick and takes it to the hole, has a smooth jumper, and he knocks down a three with ease. They are turning out to be a Cinderella team. If they play with this high of a level of a performance they could easily beat the Bulls and possibly beat the winner of Miami and Boston. All that needs to be done is to stay healthy and uninjured the rest of the post season and play like they want it. If all that happens and they don't have any off nights then they are going to be a top dog in the East.

Denver Nuggets

Today I'm discussing the Denver Nuggets. Unfortunately the big trade to acquire Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler did not pan out the way they had hoped. They wanted to get rid of Carmelo Anthony to get these superstars and they didn't even win more than 1 game in the playoffs. It is an utter disappointment. Now that they have destroyed their season they must adjust some money and people and get the right guys for a championship team. They really need a solid point guard to set up the right plays and make the right passes. They have Felton and Ty Lawson which is OK, but Felton is one good point guard....who going to go in for him? Ty Lawson is a good pick, but he is a young player. He should be worked in before being a starter. They need a veteran point guard and save Ty for later. Well Denver, you made a terrible mistake by trading Melo and Billups. One more year together and they could have taken Denver to the Finals. Oh well, you guys will just have to make do with your decision. Practice hard and prepare for each game and work to the Finals. Better luck next time folks!

New Orlenas Hornets

Today's team of discussion is the New Orleans Hornets. Of coarse when we think Hornets, we think of CHRIS PAUL! Well the New Orleans Hornets just go eliminated by the Lakers in the first round of playoffs. But the regular season record was 46-36. It's not that impressive, but to hurt the Lakers that bad in the first round for a weak playoff team is great. Chris Paul went absolutely crazy in games 1 and 3. He demolished the Lakers on his own, not counting what his fellow teammates did to them. Well they gave it a good run, but couldn't pull it out. Now what they should do is definitely take a long 3 month break, maybe 4, then sign 2 big guys for under the hoop. Then get a good draft team and work them into the rotation. Then start practice and practice hard for a championship run. And if they do that they will be a shoe in for the the playoffs and need to do work again and make sure to win each series. They got the talents and a pretty good coach. All they need to do is condition well and keep everyone healthy and out of the injury list. And if they can maintain all that and succeed in the regular season then they will be a real contender. Maybe next year Hornets.
